Good morning! I’m Jeanie Silag. I’m the front of house Product Manager for Carlisle foodservice products (https://www.culinarydepotinc.com/brands/carlisle). And I’m here to show you the new products that we’re introducing at NRA 2015. What Carlisle is doing is refreshing its look. We are a very large melamine supplier and PC and SAN supplier in the United States. But we knew we could do more if we went after trend and fashion. So what I’ve done is come up with several different concepts that address what’s happening in dining today.
The first is the mingle collection. This collection is heavy-weight melamine (https://www.culinarydepotinc.com/search?q=melamine). It will not chip. It will not crack. It has a two-year warranty. And the reason that customers are attracted to this is the circular swirl brings the eye into the center of the plate, which is something that the chef always wants people to look at the center of their plate. There’s also a texture in this plate, and it makes the food have more movement. It just looks better on a textured plate.
And to go with that look, the worst thing you can have happen at an outside venue is broken glass. So we’ve taken a recycled glass look and reproduced it in triton. This will not crack. It won’t crizzle. It will stand two years in a dishwasher with either chemicals or high heat. It will not absorb lipstick or sunscreen, which are very big problems for outside resort use.
And then we’ve expanded our line of pitchers (https://www.culinarydepotinc.com/pitchers). We are the leader in pitchers, but we thought we needed something that kind of addressed today’s lifestyle. And people want to sit, have fun, take pictures of their food, tweet them out to their friends, and they want to be proud of what they’re eating off of. And this collection is certainly bringing that to our customers.
The next collection that we’re doing is a little more upscale. It’s a mid-century modern look. As many of you know, Mad Men has kind of taken the design world by storm. There are stores completely dedicated to mid-century design, and it’s something people now find that they want in their homes. They want in their restaurants. They want to see that.
So the dinnerware pattern that we designed for that look is called Grove. And Grove shows the lines of the inside of the tree. The reason we did this versus this-this is a swirled design that goes toward a chef that wants his food to be the creation. On this plate, you have a chef who wants to have every single plate in his restaurant to look the same. He wants everything perfectly proportioned so that every time you order your dish from that restaurant, it looks the same, it looks familiar, it’s what you wanted.
To go with this look, we did a mid-century modern drinkware (https://www.culinarydepotinc.com/beverageware) and barware line. This is a cased triton product. This is manufactured by injection molding one piece of triton, bringing it up, spray-painting it gray, and immediately submerging it in another bath of triton. This gray is inside between two layers of triton. It’s never going to wear off, it’s never going to cloud, it’s never going to peel, it’s never going to change, it’s always going to look as fresh as this does. And when it’s on the table, it looks like crystal. You would have to really pick this up and tap on it to see that it is not ceramic or glass.

The ch 2 does NOT count as a hdc when you are counting your round for THIS pattern as it “usually” would or could in other patterns. It was creating a little gap, so I made this adjustment
