For those of you attempting to do this on an electronic item, please don’t soak or rinse in water. You can apply a warm damp towel for the steps that require hot water if necessary, then proceed with the oil on the paper towel.

This is a non toxic method that can be used safely with items for pets, babies and is food safe. This is also a safe method thay will not damage your items like other abrasive products and methods will.
